1967 V8 Standard Coupe

1967 V8 Standard Camaro Coupe

Butternut Yellow exterior with the rare yellow custom deluxe interior. In our Camaro family since 1986; restored several times over the years as an increasingly nice daily driver by our staff. Matching numbers, including paint & interior. 327/210hp, 2V, powerglide trans, 10 bolt rear with 2:73 gears. Factory A/C, tinted glass, power steering, column shift tilt, deluxe steering wheel, interior & exterior trim options. Basically stock, but decked out in SS-350 model cosmetic trim (hood & emblems) and 205/70 series BF Goodrich Radial T/A's on 14x6 Rally rims. Since we drive this Camaro and wanted to actually stop the car when necessary, the ineffective original front drums were replaced with factory power front discs years ago. A Ken Harrison In-dash Kenwood audio system for tunes and a rear spoiler just for looks were also added.

Solid California car with the rarest of 1967 interior colors according to the USCC in one of it's last Camaro Enthusiast club magazines. Last restored with a full set of beautiful reproduction yellow Custom Deluxe upholstery. (Regrettably, no longer available. The yellow vinyl was discontinued in the early 90's as an industry raw material color. Shortly thereafter, the remaining few sets & pieces were acquired from Distinctive Industries, the sole manufacturer, and now no longer available).

The deluxe front & rear door panels, original grain headliner, sunvisors and other interior soft trim in this rare color has never been available thru the restoration industry, so new pieces in parchment and white were all professionally vinyl dyed. The incorrect black vinyl seat insert bands on the reproduction upholstery had to be carefully hand dyed the correct original dark gold as well (as there was no dark gold upholstery material even then). Look carefully and you may discern from our photos, the deep green hue to the original factory glass of this early build 67 Van Nuys car. (Looks awesome with the butternut yellow paint!) We've noted that a few, but not many, of similarly optioned California built 67 Camaros were equipped with this rich shade of tint, but we have never seen this glass on any Norwalk cars, or any Camaro in 68 or 69. Anyone with defining info, please give us a call!
